This trip of Washington DC is very interesting, fun, and educational.
Washington holds a lot of our nations history and has for several years. The
trip was very interesting in several ways. All the Museums, memorials, and
monuments were very interesting. The most interesting museum to me was the
air and space museum because of all the planes, and space shuttles. A lot of
the planes and space shuttles there are authentic.
Most of them were the real things. Like
the first plane made was there. My favorite part of this museum was the
simulators because it seemed like you were actually driving a plane. It even
flipped upside down and did turns.
My favorite memorial was Arlington Memorial
because of how serious it was. Arlington was a memorial for all victims of
war and there family. Heroes can also be buried at Arlington. I was
surprised on how many people were actually buried in Arlington Memorial.
When we went to Arlington they were doing a reef laying for the tombs of the
unknown solders.
The reef laying was a really serious thing.
There were solders that did a special ceremony for it. One monument that I
thought was very cool was the Washington Monument. We did not go to the
Washington Monument because it was under construction. This monument was
very tall. It was so tall you could see it from all around the city. Maybe
you should go on a trip to Washington DC. You should like this trip a lot
because of how interesting it is.
